The Brynn Isom collection is inspired by the
transformation of priceless vintage garments while
creating a modern form of elegance…
I graduated from University of Texas in Austin with
a fashion and business degree... But my drive
towards fashion has always been based on my love for
the vintage eras- I love the free and feminine
feeling of the 60's and 70's. I also have had a
great passion towards evolution and have quenched my
desire to live in the vintage eras by re-inventing
the old using vintage materials and then adding my
modern designs to work with the current runways. My
designs have given me the ability to truly be myself
and wear "free & feminine" clothes that drove me
towards fashion in the 1st place.
The way I create my patterns for manufacturing
purposes, is researching & redoing a vintage
garment- cutting the sleeves, shortening the length,
adding some pleats, trim etc. Once I have created
the perfect patterns ready for the runway, I
modernize the pattern by sourcing the highest
quality fabrics that will give the garment the best
fit while maintaining the vintage flare & texture!
All of the final garments are vintage inspired, yet
take on a modern twist by incorporating 100% silk,
textured upholstery, hand crafted brazilian crochets
or knits and "modernized" vintage trim...very easy
to wear, full of texture, yet very flattering...
